Lets keep an eye out on the Gelding Pasture
Email:   john 2009-09-29 19:21:33

In the last 3 weeks, 2 geldings have been put down as the result of trauma events. Frisbee with a broken leg and Romeo with a possible fractured pelvis. These could be random freak events, but could also result from kicks. It is impossible to keep horses from kicking each other, but if there is a troublesome horse it would be good to know it. Keep an eye out for any unusual activiity when you are in the gelding pasture and post it here. Hopefully all is well but keeping an eye on things seems sensible right now.
