Although modern techniques expanded the horizon of training, Classical Dressage is still very much an art as it used to be in the past centuries but, only for those who are able to work in symbiosis spiritually and physically with the horse. With that in consideration, Dany Bert is not a typical "play by the rules" trainer. He takes what he feels is valuable from different styles and applies it to his own method. Yes, the background is in classical dressage, but he brings his own sensitivity and experience to the arena.
Additionally, Dany has found that the combination of At Liberty training and bullfight riding exercices with Classical Dressage keeps the spirit of the horse alive. Playing with horses in this fashion makes their training feel enjoyable and fun. In turn, the horse becomes more willing to execute the desired result. Dany works intuitively, focusing on the movement as well as the subtle communication between rider and horse. He also draws on the historical expertise of Nuno Olivera who was himself inspired by the greatest French Renaissance riders of the time who brought the brilliance of horse riding in lightness.

Dany Bert is an independent horse trainer and is available for individual and group lessons. He also personally trains most of his client’s horses.

Description: I am a CHA certified riding instuctor in both western and english for all ages. I offer training for you and your horse in your discipline of choice. Lesson horses available also.
Training/Experience: I have a very diverse riding background. I started as a child in western, including show experience in pleasure, equiation, and trail. I also competed in CSHA 'Trail Trials' where I gained extensive experience in negotiating trail obstacles outside an arena and won junior state champion. Later, I team roped and and competed in rodeo pageants. I have also trained and competed in 3-day eventing. I spent the last 2-years as a working student for jumper trainer, Ruben Arce. I enjoy and am very experienced in working with young and green horses. My horse, Dallas is here @ Pagemill Pastures. (He is the tall buckskin in the paddock closest to the big arena) Please say hello to Dallas and to me!

Description: My name is Christine Raposo. I have been riding all my life and have trained/worked horses of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I will be offering lessons to those with their own horse. I can give private lessons, or group lessons. I also can do training rides for your horse.
Training/Experience: I currently own four horses. Have done all my own training and have clinicianed with multiple well known trainers like LInda Allen, Nick Karassissi, Mindy Bower to name a few. I enjoy working with young or problem horses in all diciplines including western, endurance, dressage, hunter/jumpers and even trail.

Christina has competed up the the 1.40m level in the jumper ring and has trained with many well decorated professionals, including Olympic gold medalist, Michael Page.
